Vice Grand Master of American TSN

Master Mike Pulliam's journey into the world of martial arts and sports began at the tender age of 12, under the watchful guidance of his father, a decorated Navy champion boxer. This early exposure to disciplined training set the stage for a lifetime of athletic achievements and unwavering dedication.

Master Mike was not content with just one sport. Throughout his youth, he excelled in various athletic pursuits, from football to track and field, even venturing into the adrenaline-fueled world of rodeo riding, which included riding bulls and saddle bronc. His thirst for challenge and mastery knew no bounds.

Upon graduating from high school, Master Mike answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served with honor and distinction, earning an honorable discharge. It was during this time that he laid the foundation for his future as a martial artist and a leader.

After completing his military service, Master Mike embarked on a new chapter of his life, one filled with love and commitment. He met his soulmate, and together they have shared over four decades of marital bliss, raising two wonderful children, Brandi and Micah, and delighting in the joy of five grandchildren.

In 1985, Master Mike's journey in martial arts took a pivotal turn when he began training under the esteemed Grand Master Hong Nhan, who had sought asylum from Vietnam's communist regime and settled in Garland, Texas. Under Grand Master Hong Nhan's personal tutelage, Master Mike honed his skills and rose to become Grand Master's Champion, undefeated and fearless in accepting all challenges, albeit in unsanctioned bouts, which were considered the most perilous.

When questioned about the risks he faced in these unregulated fights, Master Mike's response reflected his unwavering dedication to his craft and his unwavering commitment to excellence. For him, every challenge was an opportunity to test his abilities and affirm the efficacy of his training, regardless of the odds.

Throughout the years, Master Mike has generously shared his knowledge and expertise with countless students, always with the blessing and approval of Grand Master Hong Nhan. Their bond has only grown stronger over time, as they recognize the importance of preserving and passing down the rich legacy of martial arts to future generations.

In addition to his illustrious martial arts career, Master Mike is also a successful business owner, having built his own company over the past three decades, alongside his devoted wife, children, and loyal employees. His leadership style reflects his values of integrity, compassion, and familial camaraderie, where everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

For Master Mike Pulliam, martial arts is not just a physical discipline but a way of life, a journey of self-discovery, and a testament to the enduring power of the human spirit.
